Disconnection issue with vendor

Hi,

We are facing an issue of frequent vendor disconnections.

They have confirmed that they are sending data but we get “Received logout request: Peer heartbeat timeout, logout and disconnect initiated” and after some less than 30 seconds we again

“: Received logon”

Logging –

From log, it is visible that even after disconnect initiated, we receive data the same second 14:31:39.

VPN was changed a month back on our side but after a month it again resurfaced.

Please help on this issue to find the cause.

Thanks,

Badal

Hi,

this looks a little strange. The counterparty claims there is a heartbeat timeout. But the Logout
message even gets through to your system, so the connection is not broken. I suspect they are using
some homebrewn heartbeating mechanism to detect if the session is broken.
Do you have some logs from before the connection was "broken"? Can the other side provide the logs
before the connection is "broken"?

Regards,
Chris.
